Imprint Audio is the freelance music and audio studio of Jack Palmer. Specialising in artistic sound creation, music composition, attention-to-detail mixing & mastering, as well as bespoke audio-visual systems design, Jack employs a highly diverse skillset that can be utilised strategically on a project-by-project basis. Jack’s versatility as a multimedia artist allows a project manager to streamline creative processes that might often be shared amongst multiple team members.

Imprint Audio handles a variety of music mixing and mastering duties for artists and labels. Jack brings a highly experienced and diverse musical sensibility to his work. Jack's ear is attuned to genre and industry standards but ultimately aims to serve what the music is asking for. He keeps clients at the centre of decision making, fostering a collaborative workflow that allows space for the music's true sonic potential to emerge.
Mixing and mastering is delivered for all requested formats and scenarios. Mix + master discounts are available.
Rates
Mixing: Because every mix is unique, mixing is billed at an agreed flat fee (AUD). Please get in touch to discuss your project workflow, your creative vision, and receive a quote.
Mastering: Tracks under 6 mins are billed using a bulk pricing system (below). For other scenarios a flat rate is agreed upon. Please get in touch to discuss your project and mastering requirements.

Jack’s work often combines live synchronised audio and video using Ableton Live with Max MSP Jitter. Jack has built a number of music video systems that can be played in real time that have been used for installations, performances, as well as generating visual content for music videos. A notable example was the live video projection system used in Speak Percussion’s performance-installation work ‘Squashed’.
